Expert Design Decks, Inc. is dedicated to providing comprehensive services in deck construction, maintenance, restoration, and refinishing. We utilize a variety of exotic woods and also offer cleaning, coloring, and sealing services for outdoor hard surfaces, such as tile decking.
Our skilled team caters to both residential and commercial clients across Grass Valley and Nevada County. Whether you require a new deck installation or extensive repair and restoration services, we are ready to assist you.
The former Hawaiian owner Zach was first licensed as a General Contractor in 2009 doing business as Expert Design Builders in the Bay Area. There he built many fine custom homes and commercial properties. Mastering the building trades of an area with intense structural requirements for that seismic activity zone has provided him with a valuable knowledge of structural solutions for any construction project. He first learned the building trades over twenty years ago in Hawaii providing him with waterproofing solutions. After building multi story houses from pouring foundations to framing roofs he relocated to Grass Valley in 2024 to found Expert Design Decks, inc.
